Why would they think they are essential ???  But the lists here in Johnson County changes all the time. They are allowing Hobby Lobby to be open, NOPE not going anywhere close

The shops here are open only for pawn.  Simple, unemployed people need money.

Gotta love a group of firearms owners bitching about a little freedom while apparently accepting the underlying oppression.
I celebrate any business that can find an excuse to be essential.  But then again, I celebrate freedom.

Honest people want to work for their pay and do not want an hand out from an infused unemployment system.  If an employer can find a way to be labeled essential, more power to them.

Freedom and a submissive populace cannot co-exist.

seems that in a crisis the govt should not shutter the place where many enterprising  thieves can sell the efforts of their skill loading  the open marketplace with complex electronic items, tools, and automotive necessities.....?????? ad infinitum

Yeah but we either are or are not quarantining as a national emergency to prevent the spread. How do you close gyms and restaurants Etc. and let other businesses stay open?
Drawing the line gets tricky, you can stay open but you can't Etc.
IF we determine that the only way to prevent this illness from spreading is to curtail ALL non essential businesses its only fair to close them all.
If I owned a restaurant or Bar and next door the Home Depot has got a parking lot full of contractors and ladies buying flowers for the garden I'm going to be raising hell!
Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!

Close down the residential construction and it support business, and you just as well hand the keys to Russia.
    Country would be paralyzed.
The TDS crowd would love to see the economy go the sheeter
