In three and a half years

Supposedly the Trump administration failed to replace the federal government's supply of N95 masks.   Then by some form of applied logic that becomes Obama's fault.   How wrong I've been all this time thinking only the liberals can form those type of conclusions.

And the Obama administration had 7 years to replace them. Lots of blame to go around. Bob

I am really not understanding how it the Federal Government's responsibility to stockpile a supply of N95 masks.  We had a couple of boxes that we gave to our son as one of our grandchildren has a lung condition that could make getting the virus a real problem.
It is not Trump's fault, it is not Obama's fault.  It is simply a situation where local medical facilities did not have enough supply to meet what was a here-to-fore unanticipated need.

There are idiots on all sides attempting to assign blame for failure to anticipate something that is new.  It is a waste of time, counter-productive, and frankly as become boring as hell.

Surgery Center's and other places have lots of them, the Hospitals are saying they don't have enough. If private citizens are being asked to provide them to Hospitals any facility that gets medicare/medicaid money should be mandated to turn theirs over too. For Profit centers are still doing elective procedures with low priorities, no reason for that at all.
Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!

While the CDC made some poor choices and Trump is practicing TV medicine without a license or a clue, the fact is 100 years is too long for humans to stay prepared for what they once knew could happen.  If it starts happening every 25 years, perhaps we will stay better prepared.  I know we will.

Here's a suggestion: Would all the Trump haters please tell him what crisis will appear three years from now so he can prepare for it in advance? Thank you.

Exactly Don.   Some people seem to want to point blame at someone, for everything.   Most of the time we have to accept that things happen and deal with what needs done the best we can.

The saddest thing IMO is the fact we have given most of our nations production of medical supplies to other countries!   This is the wakeup call for us.  Make it HERE and use it HERE!

Finger pointed does no good. I don't want to hear excuses I want to see results. One can bet this issue of shortages won't happen again

Here's the scoop , the mask were used under Obama, that is when they should have been replaced. Really if you use up all your toilet paper are you going to wait for your kids to replace in 10 years? The is the type of thing that gets replenished when it is used. You don't wait for the next virus to restock. So in actuality this is on Obama's shoulders, he cut funding to tons of every day items that the country needs to survive.

So if Obama didn't replace the equipment no one else needs to? Seems like with all the whining about Obama the first thing the new guy should do is fix the problems.

This is what happens when you tax corporations to the tune of 57% not counting their over head they have to meet.

Every time liberals want some worthless program they always say, "every one must pay their fare share"  which means, tax business to the point they have to leave the country to manufacture anything, and still be able to make a profit.  By cutting corporate tax and stop giving every liberal their whim they feel they must have,  more and more business will return the United States.     I just hope people realize the fact that you can not rely on foreign countries to always supply your needs.

I see folks wearing masks every where, no gloves or any other protective clothing. Without all the correct defenses seems like a mask alone is pretty worthless.

Perhaps he would have if not for constantly the survive all the accusations.  Actually though,  replacing masks would not have been a high enough priority.

You're not going to catch it just by getting it on your hands unless you rub your eyes, mouth  etc to give it a route into your body.  Use hand sanitizer when you get to the car and was them good when you get home, as an added step you can wash the clothes you had on and take a shower to keep from spreading it in your home.   But the fastest way of getting it is to inhale droplets someone else coughed or sneezed out.   So a mask alone would be effective against that.

The most effective thing is to keep a distance from people so you're not in their spray if they cough or sneeze and good hand cleaning.
