Finally found a reason to shoot 9mm

JasonVJasonV Member Posts: 2,481 ✭✭✭
Got a Keltec Sub2000 9mm rifle the other day. Really fun to shoot and seems to be as accurate as I can expect it to be. Folds up small and is my new pickup rifle.
Wish they made it in 45 acp!

anyone else got on? What do you think if it?

I've come close to buying one several times.

Like Ken, I have one in .40 that can share mags with my G23 and G35.
The factory sights kinda suck so I put a red dot on it and it's surprisingly accurate!  Had to polish the chamber when it was brand new but now it runs like a top.

I want one, too. I have a case of Wolf 9mm and nothing to shoot it in.

What kind of mags are you running in yours Neo?

    Capacity? Interested.

I also own. Kel-Tec PLR-16 5.56 pistol, (modified) with a Meprolight MP20 Holographic sight on it.

As well as a Kel-Tec P11, one of the smallest 9mm handguns on the market. A regular carry piece in a DeSantis SuperTuk.

Would like one of their (KSG) Shotguns.

Factory Glock mags for the 23 or the 22/35 frames seem to work great.  I have a couple 30 round Korean mfg. mags that don't do so hot.  The KCI(?) mags work fine with all the pistols (ever seen a Glock 27 with a 30 round mag stuck in it?  If you run out of ammo you can use it like a tomahawk!) but just don't run well with the Sub-2000.

I just emptied a Glock 33 round magazine out of mine and it ran fine.

Also found three Keltec stickers in the box it came in and gun company stickers are always a plus!

Actually read the manual. Field stripping and sight adjustments are very easy.

I have own two different ones in the past....One in 9mm, the other .40.   Both were accurate and reliable.  I would still own both except they are not left hand friendly.   The blast from the port threw all sort of crud and gas at my face.  I tried different glasses and even an improvised face shield but it just sucked the fun out of owning them.....
