A Friend of mine Father in law passed. Class III Lic. holder

He is a little over whelmed that he gets all the firearms that are transferable and money to apply for a class III He set it up right if I understand correctly. His friends that are also class III holders will take legal possession (of what they can) until he passes. He ask me for advice, get a lawyer.

    Do you mean the FIL had a Dealer's License and the SOT as a machine gun dealer- or that he owned registered full autos?  If it was simple inheritance of a transferable full auto, do not believe there is a charge from the ATF for transferring an inherited gun.  But "get a lawyer" is often good advice.
