Chauvin/Floyd - Personal History

ABC and CBS news last night reported upon the estranged relationship that had existed between Chauvin and Floyd while they were concurrently working as bouncers at a MN nightclub some years ago. Seems there was more a personal motive to Chauvin's actions than there was a racial one, albeit there may have been racial undertones.
Questions:
As new information should inform and direct actions, will this now known previously antagonistic relationship reduce the validity of the 'systemic racism in our police forces' mantra?
Is it possible in today's environment to point out such things without being shouted down as a simpleton denier?
Will BLM (no not the Bureau of Land Management) apologize for painting our brave men in blue with such a broad brush?
Lastly, rather than expensive sweeping reforms of police practice and training regimens, would it not be better for cities, police forces and police unions to make a concerted effort to weed out the bad apples?

Freedom and a submissive populace cannot co-exist.

I guess I should apologize to our moderators.
One would hope that a discussion of race relations in our country and policing policy would not be political.
