We can't pledge to allegiance under G-d anymore and now  The Star Spangled Banner is too violent.

O say can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight
O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there
O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

I am wondering why Mennonites should 'go the hell to africa'.

    Please explain, sir.

    Thanks,

    Don

Here' why! If your country History is not worth saving because people where slave holders IN THE PAST Then leave it and build a better one some place else with no History of evil white people.  Did the white people fight for THE Nazi's in WWII?

In an increasingly anti-racist era when problematic iconography — ranging from Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben to even the Dukes of Hazzard General Lee car and country band Lady Antebellum’s name — is being reassessed, revised or retired, America’s national anthem, “The Star-Spangled Banner,” seems to be striking a wrong note.

Last week, protesters in San Francisco toppled a statue of the song’s composer, Francis Scott Key, a known slaveholder who once said that African Americans were “a distinct and inferior race of people, which all experience proves to be the greatest evil that afflicts a community.” This week, Liana Morales, an Afro-Latinx student at New York’s Urban Assembly School for the Performing Arts, refused to sing “The Star-Spangled Banner” at her virtual graduation ceremony, explaining to the Wall Street Journal, “With everything that’s happening, if I stand there and sing it, I’m being complicit to a system that has oppressed people of color.” Instead, Morales performed “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” a hymn widely considered to be the “Black national anthem.”

One needs to look at the same method of operation Lenin, Castro, and Mao used to gain power : Attacks and termination of traditions, customs, and institutions that defined nations.

Happening right now in USA led by the enemy within.
Everything from the nuclear family, holiday such as Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter are disparaged and taken apart by DEMOCRAT courts and leftist legislation. Boy Scouts, public restrooms; now statues.
Some state and even the American Flag are now being defined by leftists as symbols of racism and hate.  Our own history is being wiped out before our very eyes. The pledge, the National Anthem, institutions such as law enforcement are now under attack by DEMOCRATs with main stream media fanning the flames.
