Dr. Anthony Fauci, a member of the coronavirus task force, had previously backed funding for a controversial lab in Wuhan, China, that has been studying the coronavirus in bats, reports said.

Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases had shelled out a total of $7.4 million to the Wuhan Institute of Virology lab — which has become the focus of theories about the origin of COVID-19, according to Newsweek.

The National Institutes of Health, which oversees the NIAID, shut down all funding to the lab last week.

“At this time, NIH does not believe that the current project outcomes align with the program goals and agency priorities,” a deputy director at the agency wrote in a letter obtained by Politico.

There is “increasing confidence” among officials in the Trump administration that the Wuhan Institute of Virology lab is the original site of the virus. A report by Fox News said embassy officials warned in January 2018 about inadequate safety there.

    Testing a virus overseas probably seemed like a good idea at the time.  If it got loose, the problem would be over there and not over here.  Right?

     It Does not matter if it was in  April when the story broke what matters is The Obama administration  was funding research with Red China about this virus that finally got released to the general public.

    “There is no question that there will be a challenge to the coming administration in the arena of infectious diseases,” he said in a speech titled “Pandemic Preparedness in the Next Administration” at Georgetown University Medical Center. He delivered it just days before Trump was inaugurated on Jan. 20, 2017.

    Fauci, who has overseen the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) since 1984, warned that looming health challenges would involve both chronic diseases ―  ones already ongoing ― as well as “a surprise outbreak.”

    With world climate change and all the human activity with over population then I suspect the shadow government unleashed
      this Wuhan virus to start and enter the bottleneck transition to the United Nation Agenda 2030 agenda to take over all world governance to save the planet and instill a Socialism NWO. Too many coincidences to think otherwise.
