Just like clockwork, every night around 845.....

This year we have beans in the South field so I have a clear view all the way back to the far SE corner where there are a couple acres of trees where I hunt most falls.   I bought a inexpensive spotting scope to aid in scouting all around the area....For the past week or so, between 830 and 845 several deer will come out in the bean field and feed on grass.

So far there have been 4 different bucks ranging from a frokie to decent 8pt.  It is usually too dark to get any pics of them, but hopefully sometime in the future there will be enough light to get the camera out....I need to get out to my patch and change out the cards as all of them should be on there....

Any one else started scouting or been seeing any decent deer ??

Yea, I have out at camp. Seeing lots of deer so far, more than last. Bucks a plenty and fawns all over. Looks like agood crop this year if no disease hits.

Only one buck so far. Right now a momma and her twin fawns are wading on the other side of the pond browsing on the overhanging plants. Have two more does with one fawn each that come into the yard at about 8:45 each night. Bob

They come thru our place between 8:45-9:30 PM eating our variegated dogwood leaves and the wife's costa flower buds

We don't have anywhere near as many deer as you but there are a few that dance around the apple trees in our yard.

(I think they are doing the Virginia Reel)

my wife likes to set in our side yard and relax after work some evenings just south east  there is a small woods and crop field across the road, my wife  watches,  thru a pair of binoculars  the deer in the evening they will come out in the edge of the field  and play and graze one has two young ones she likes watching them play and mom keeping a close watch on them

i suggest you get the attachment that connects your spotting scope and a smartphone and take those long distant photos and videos.  its not that expensive and works really good.  my son uses his setup all the time catching pics of the deer and elk off in the distance
