I'm selling this rifle for a neighbor. He purchased it back in 2015 when the word was that Obama was shutting down the CMP- like that actually happened. He fired it once, cleaned it, and then put in into his gun safe:

This an extremely nice M1 which has a like-new Line Materials (LMR) barrel, which are known in the M1 community for exceptional accuracy. Quite honestly, there is nothing about this rifle not to like. If you plan on owning just a single M1, although I can't see how owning just one M1 is possible, this could fit the bill. The CMP remains sold out of Service Grade M1s, with no end to the shortage in sight.
