Country music was the music of choice in my childhood. The PTA at my school always held a fall festival/ fundraiser . One year we did the hee haw show . The hay bales for the were full of bird mites and all the performers got covered in them

Saw a show on tv a night or two ago , think it was on grit tv . Her jaw revisited . Apparently some of the original cast members , Buck Trent , Misty Rowe , and Lulu Roman. Do a tribute show based on their old routines . Sure have aged a bunch but then I guesss we all have
many years ago some of my wife's family ( aunts and uncles a few cousins most have passed on now RIP ) lived in Georgia we would visit at least once a year they lived not far from where Jr samples lived and came from.
her family told us they had met him a few times in town while shopping and he was a good nature fellow and friendly
and as for being on the show he made very little money for the time per show compared to the others in the show , he was just a good old boy who had a time in the lime light I think he passed on many years ago also .
seems like a lot simpler times in our life's and country's that will never be again
the old shows were entertaining and reflected that simpler time
