My norinco sks was won at a gun show as the door prize . Think it was selling for $69.00 then .I have a Mosin nagent from Roses Dept store at $79.00 and An Ishapore arsenal Lee enfield in 7.62 nato from Roses at I think $89.00 . Wish I could have seen the future I would have loaded up .

 I remember cases and cases of them at local GS for 69.00  59.00 if you bought the whole case and and cases of ammo  1000 maybe 1200 ? rounds for 69.00 to go with them 
  sadly  like most I thought they will always be inexpensive .. another great life choice I made LOL

I bought one like that and it came with 500 rounds of ammo on stripper clips for 129.00 back in 90 or 91.  I shot the ammo and took it to a gun show sold it a few years later for maybe 150.  I should have kept it.

I don't remember that, but I do remember them stacked in wooden crates for 39$. Thought at that time they were the cheapest junk ever. Quite fond of them now.

1992 Clinton ban... I cleaned out a local pawn store just before close. Went in and ask the owner how many SKS's he had ? We were there for quite some time filling out paper. Bought a dozen SK's at 69 dollars , a few Mac 90's  89 dollars , some AK's.  for 99 dollars. We put them all in the back of my pickup and I drove home and stashed them away.
