I forget someone here recommended the show to me, so I picked up the whole shebang. For a Canadian Sci/Fi from the same time frame as "Dark Matter" and "KillJoys" it's not fun. I imagine this is like Canadian "Battle Star" (not that I seen "Battle Star"). It's like what "Total Recall" mars a few years along minus the mutants and the blue sky. Maybe it'll pick up?  

Thomas Jane is in it and it's good to see him working. Saw the CFO brother from "Royal Pains" (dude reminded me to pick up the seasons I missed on DVD). Kind a surprised to see "Windom Earle from "Twin Peaks" still alive but also good to see him working. Oh and Mexican Magnum is on here before he became "Mexican Magnum P.I.". And the English Captain from "The Terror" was on there (just finished "The Terror" in anticipation of the "The Terror: Japo Concentration" edition that's coming out this Tuesday?). The "Man Bear" on there was meh.

    I read probably 7 of the books before it seemed every new character introduced was of the same sexual orientation as the authors.  It seemed they were just going out of their way to jam it into the book.  I watched a little bit of the first three seasons and some after Amazon picked it up,  Certainly not a MUST see...

    Amazon picked it up? Hmm... don't know if I'd buy more. In the third season few of the cast from "JillJoys" got recycled to this show. Also I think they ripped off Carl Sagan a bit.
