Big cities don't tell you about how dangerous they know it is.

They want to attract, then trap infantrymen there.

Just sayin'.

They don't want the issue solved because they want to preserve the city for people who want a more free lifestyle for a while before getting married.  Or in other words, "we don't want dorks to move in."

That's why they definitely don't deserve federal funds.

Ironically, it may be the very reason they get the funds.

One thing which I speculate may draw people and lead to a disincentive to providing jobs out somewhere is the fact that a lot of Europeans have detectable African ancestry.

So, if an employer doesn't want the ghetto in his workplace, he can hire the people (not just Irish, it's all over Europe) who are white but have a slightly broader flatter nose and nappy hair.  Or maybe they just have a relative who has those things.  All of Europe was black once, so they're part of every ethnicity.

They all think they're being oppressed because they are having a harder time getting a job, but the political machine in their home communities pressured them into a privately funded, second tier education system and everyone knows part of what they seem to know how to do are kludges and cheats.  Many may assume it's an excellent school system because when their own get transferred to public school, they may get instantly taken down a few notches & nobody realizes it's because they're exposed to professional assessment.  People who went through the system may help their friends get jobs.

It's also possible they save some funding for the top schools by underfunding the second-tier schools, then turn around and draw people for teaching and ministry from those schools.   So you have some excellent students, some not.

The communities who pressure those who can to go to private school then have more money to spend winning votes from disadvantaged people by funding their public, professionally run schools 5X more than the amount that stopped making a difference in standardized test scores.  It does do the students and society some good because they get lots of practice speaking respectfully to teacher, handing stuff in on time, learning mature, refined attitudes toward style and class, seeing a lot of examples of logical reasoning, etc.

This is all speculation.  I have no proof.

They may even underreport the actual crime rate and let some of the worst offenders off, just enough to keep crime statistics high but not punish them so much it reduces birth rate.  This, combined with the fact that everyone knows or knows of a few highly respectable black people, combines to create the perception of oppression that we have to redress by giving jobs to people who don't deserve them because they have a broad flat nose and nappy hair, even though their family has been in Europe since literally before the glaciers receded, 14,500 years ago.

They may also continue to fund jobs in the ghetto by voting for programs or spending in ways which indirectly keeps them afloat instead of letting the law abiding move to better neighborhoods and not giving work to those who don't deserve it until they either straighten out or can't afford the big city anymore.

Well.... one of the attractions of living in the country is that you have some ROOM around you.  I used to say that I could stand on my front porch and pee in the yard if I wanted to.

But from the news, I see they now do that in the cities.

Its their ideology and how they vote.

Gotta luv how they handle their crime problems: Raise taxes, defund police, raise taxes, more gun control, raise taxes, tell police to respond to felonies only, raise taxes, allow brigands and protesters free rein, and raise taxes.

The Red/Blue map is a useful tool for telling people areas to avoid.

It's not that I don't wish the problems in cities to be remedied, but I wish more that those problems will stay in the cities and away from "flyover country."

If any enlisted wind up at Dover Air Force Base, know that Dover is awful - so is Newark, Wilmington, and New Castle County as a whole.
