Aldi 99% fat free ground turkey, only white meat. Tried it for lunch today!

Momma chopped up some onion and cilantro and mixed it into the turkey.  Made patties and grilled them.  OMG, we will be using lots of this 99% fat free in the future.  It grilled up moist and very flavorful.  It was the best "hamburger" I have eaten in a long time.  Add garden fresh tomato, pickles and lettuce and it was a lip smacking good meal!!  At least to us, it was definetly better than ground beef.  Give it a try!!

I haven't found anyone on the East coast that has white meat ground turkey; all I see is dark meat with bits of bone & black pepper.

This is a relatively new product, available the last couple of months??  Both Aldi and Lidl have the 99% fat free.

I plan to go to Aldi sometime next week. I'll keep my eyes open for it.

 My wife shops Aldi quite often and buys some pretty healthy stuff.

Easy to find here . But then again the processing plant for Butterball turkeys so about 15 miles down the road from my house . They used to have a showroom sales outlet for folks in the neighborhood but it shut down a while back .
