Anyone work on Simons Pistol scopes

44mag444mag4 Member Posts: 47
I have a busted Simons pistol scope. Yes, I know it is a entry level scope and not very high quality. Does anyone work on them? If so, I would appreciate their name and address. If not, does anyone want one ( cheap )to possibly repair one you have that isn`t working. Thanks

Okay, I don't know the answer to your question.   When I have a scope like that I give it a kid to play with as long as the glass is in place.   They can use it for a telescope of sorts and it teaches them a thing or two.

Not worth the postage to ship both ways.

Give it to a shooting buddy.  Buy yourself a quality scope (Leupold),
    Then out-shoot him.

I can't believe they misspelled "Pork and Beans!"

Here is the contact information for Bushnell which owns Simmons:
They have several methods of contact at this link.
    Best.

Thanks for the info. I have contacted Bushnell. Simons scopes are a thing of the past, I believe for a good reason. Will be looking for a good Leupold.

I have probably killed more deer with a Ruger skeleton stock 270 with a Simmons 44 mag scope than any rifle I own.The higher end Simmons were pretty good scopes for the money.

I have a SW X frame in 500 mag that has has been fired over 500 rounds with a Simmons 2 - 6 power Pro hunter scope. I paid $70 for it some time ago. It is still in perfect condition.

Later I replaced the Simmons with a 4X Leupold for which the money I paid for the Leupold, I could buy 7 Simmons scopes.
I liked the Leupold compact size since the X frame is huge and wanted to reduce weight.

This scope is on its way back to Leupold a SECOND time for losing its zero.  Needless to say, the Simmons is back on the X frame and still doing fine.
It is too bad Simmons quit making handgun scopes.

The truth is this, toss it.  Go buy another scope, this is not your 1972 tube ridden TV.   Labor is too expensive to fix it now.  Just go buy a Vortex/Leupold or Nightforce Scope, depending on budget, and be done with the matter.
