I am getting a bit weak in my old age. My radio is 20 years old in the truck. I listen to AM talk radio all the time. Over the years reception has gotten so bad that it becomes impossible to listen to unless close to the transmitter.
So, In a moment of weakness I went to Sirus XM. All I wanted to do is see the channel line up. I don't care one bit about sports or 99.9% of the crap they transmit. I want TALK radio.
A pop up FORCES you to choose a vehicle before seeing the packages available. If you hit I don't see my vehicle you get forced to look at radios to buy, WTH. I just want to see the gull-dern lineup.
Well, I guess I will just go to a radio shop and get the antenna fixed (most likely culprit for poor AM reception). Sirus XM needs my money a lot more than I need to give it to them.
Do you ever think huge Companies will ever get what customer service actually is? Do you think these morons designing web pages will ever be able to understand how the human mind works and stop the fancy crap?
Rant over.

Dunno if your truck radio will do it, but I can connect my iPhone to the Rover's radio with bluetooth and then Talk Right comes through my speakers. Or turn up the volume and sit your phone in a little plastic cup in your cupholder to capture and redirect the sound so you can hear it.
Also, I often listen to Marc Levin, can't get him on am around here.
And of course, at 1 am it is Coast to Coast, I have it on am here but reception is sketchy.
As for having to look at some ads while trying to purchase Sirius, I can see that would be annoying, but, I would put up with it.
Just search sirrus channel line up printable it comes up a PDF I just haven't figured out yet how to post a PDF with my phone yet.
Ah yes, except they have "packages" like Satellite TV does. I don't care about "packages" containing useless to me junk, I only care about a very few channels not caring one wit about the junk that is noise to me.
