Looking at the SP5 prices and it looks like people will pay almost anything to get one.

    To each his own. Seems to me, that their are any number of equality reliable, less expensive alternatives out their.

    If you just have to have a SP 5. And are willing to pay the big bucks to get one. Go for it. Seems like the realities, of supply and demand. Kicking in.

    All HKs are  pricy but the guns from the '90s are silly prices (excluding PSG-1 since they were very limited import). SP89 was pricy in their day back in 1989. Figure what people are "paying" for the new SP5 they won't lose money unless HK pumps in a million of them in to the US.
