or other lines you can used to be surprised.  Frontier ACTUALLY ANSWERED MY CALL!!!!!
I got to speak to Carlos this morning, he gave me some instructions that when applied did nothing.
I got to speak to FRANK in India this afternoon.
WOW, they found trouble on the line 23,458 feet from my house.  Then Frank had to ask me if I had a fever.  Maybe Frontier has social distancing of 5 miles but according to Frank it should be fixed by Saturday.

I'll call you Sally but that's as far as I go!😄 I hope they do better that Centurylink did when I told them where the problem was and they didn't believe me. A week later they figured out I was right according to the tech they sent to my house even though I told them the problem was at the local hub 2.5 miles away. Good luck. Bob

Wish you well! Hopefully it will resolve your problem(s). I figured with them in bankruptcy, nobody would even answer the phone.

Unfortunately where I live in the hills, there the only game in town. The Verizon 4G won't work, because we are in a dead spot. Lower than the level of the hills, that mask the signal from Verizon's cell tower.

Ditto at my place.  One of the reason I bought this property is the natural steep narrow back ridge 250 yards behind the house.  It is the PERFECT bullet backstop and well over 100 feet tall.  However that same ridge blocks Verizon cell signals so I have a booster that goes over DSL and kinda-sortta works, sometimes.  If I take the Honda or tractor to the top of the hill I get 3-4 bars of service.  Frontier is the only game here in the boonies.  I accept it as part of living here.  If I had zero internet I would still choose to be exactly where I am.

I love that, you got a guy on the phone with an obvious Bangladesh accent, he is obviously 11, 848 miles away, and he says "Hello, Sahib, my name is Frank Johnson calling you from Indianapolis Indiana."
Hell you can smell the Tikka Masala curry cooking in his kitchen
India and Bangladesh were conquered by England 250 years ago.  These people love to get an education and they all learn English.   And over there the pay is really low.  I have heard these guys get around $4 an hour.

And I say "Tell me Frank, can you give me your best recipe for chicken vindaloo?"

I had Frontier here and the service SUCKED!  They just recently sold this territory to an outfit called Ziply Fiber.  Lo and behold, the service improved! AND, they say it's going to get even better as they replace some of the degraded infrastructure.

Ah yes Century Link, Dad and I had them in my 2nd home in Kents Store, Va. Dad was on medic alert and oxygen in 2011.  Seems like every other time I called down to dad his phone was out. Three times they told me they would send a field supervisor to talk to me. Never happened. When Dad passed away in 2011, I cancelled service after looking at the internal terminal post in my front yard. Never seen such corrosion in my life. Then they told me I would have to pay $19 to cancel service in Va. which I refused to pay. After about six months they finally sent me a statement reading "0" balance.--------------Ray

    Hopefully getting new Internet tomorrow.

Praying I’ll be able to get thru to someone at frontier to cancel our horrible internet.

What makes it worse is that they have all of my information wrong. Ex. Last 4 of social and wrong birthdate.

I’ll have to call on home phone to have any luck.
