took grandkids out to mow cemetery..........

an old family cemetery I take care of myself, hoping it will be the last time I have to mow this year, I wanted it to look nice for labor day. I showed my granddaughter my headstone, a patio block painted white with my and my wifes name on it and ask her " do you know who this is??"  she just gave me a weird look and I told her it was for me and her grandmother.  she just looked at me and said " papa your not dead yet!!"

    i respect your labor on this ..i was not a vet but used to help the VFW at home and the Legion at our lake place set and pickup up flags for Memorial Day till legs went bad.... seems they have stopped the military flyovers now....miss them..last i saw was a B1b bomber coming and i stopped on the top of the overpass one mile from the cemetery and watched as the thing came over real close and made the programmed turn towards the next towns cemetery....impressive
