Darn Computers

Another problem.  I'm running Win10 and Firefox.  An hour ago I was looking at my Bookmarks Menu and one of my major folders was gone.  It's a big deal because that folder had about 20 sub folders.  There use to be (maybe Win8) a recover option to reboot to a previous date. Is this still available with Win10?

If I remember correctly, W10 has a Restore function, but only if you previously set a Restore point. If you have a second computer running Firefox, you may be able to find your lost bookmarks there and export them to a USB stick. Be sure to turn off Sync on the bad computer first.
Broken record time: the problem is Windows 10. When you get sufficiently whizzed off at Microlimp, ask me about Linux Mint.
    I may be a bit crazy - but I didn't drive myself.

Thanks for the reply Rocky. This doesn't sound good for Jeff. I may still have one possibility - a cloud backup from Norton.  I think I'll just create a new post for Norton users.  My backups are automatic but I don't know how to restore.
