Browning Hi Power Work

i have a late 80s High Power. Didn’t know it but it had problems when it arrived. Loved the gun so I did not beef it. Question go to a local gunsmith who is known as excellent or try to send back to Browning for a rebuild. Thanks!!

Cylinder and Slide did some upgrades on mine and their work was excellent.

Ummmmm- while we all CALL the Hi-Power a "Browning", that may not be technically accurate.  I THINK there were made by Fabrique National in Herstal Belgium (or in Canada).  And production stopped about 3 years ago.  If you can FIND a competent pistolsmith, they should be able to do most things.  What problems are you having?

I think that they may be imported & serviced by FNH USA.  (Fabrique Nationale Herstal).  What they will do for those who didn't buy from them......I don't know.
