What do you think. I'm not inclined to believe this, though I've had some spooky experience in the area of Culp's Hill several years ago. That's the only place on the battlefield where it feels eerie to me.

That's really sort of sad. It looks like 2 soldiers are running, hiding and still fighting the war 155 years later.

I couldn't see them running across the road, did I miss something?

All I know is that in 1988 I was invited to Rogers Island in upstate NY by the older fellow that owned it.

The closer I got to where Robert Rogers and his Rangers camped and where the hospital was, the feeling was indescribable.

Cold chills in the first weeks of July.

    The spirits are there.

They must have been Johnny Rebs, if you look close one waved "howdy" as the vehicle neared him.............. :)

Looks to me more like smudges on the windshield as they come in line with the cannons. I guess folks see what they want to see.

Paranormal events are routinely faked these days.

Soldiers 155 years ago would have been a lot shorter than that. And I suspect they’d be used to running bent way over at the waist.

I had the opportunity to go through Ft. Ticonderoga at 1 A.M. on a cold February night....another spooky place.

I grew up across the street from the Spotsylvania battle fields, never can say I experienced any paranormal events but it was an awesome place to grow up. My Dad used to have me dig in our back yard for various projects and we have a jar of mini balls unearthed from our back yard.
Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!

Who knows enough about video manipulation to know if those are obvious fakes, though?  Technology is improving all the time.  What if some major digital animation studio's staff do this for a hobby in their off hours?

Is most of the "paranormal" BS??  Yes, we all know the bulk of this is nonsense.

So, having said that, I have had several experiences in my life that cannot be explained by normal realities.   One of which I can not relate to you without totally and completely losing it and sobbing for the next half hour.

I have had family and friends that have had UFO experiences that even made the papers (back when at least part of the truth was published.) so I know that there are UFO experiences that are real.  Unless you would choose to ignore the testimony of 3 WW II vets and what they saw, including two of their wives, who saw the same things, one of whom was my mother.

These sightings were scary enough that these people were not willing to talk about it later.  If I had not heard what they saw within several hours of when it happened I would never had heard about their sightings.   There are things out there we cannot explain.

Thanks for posting.  I've spent countless hours at Gettysburg.  I've walked across the field of Pickett's Charge several times, and the only place that I have had any "experience" is near the high-water mark, in the vicinity of where General Armistead fell.  It's bothered me so much that I just physically collapsed on more than one occasion -- more than a little embarrasing when other folks are around.  I thought I was the only one.  Thanks again.
