Value, Remington 1100 in .410

Any ideas?  yes, have looked at auctions- prices here and there, few bids. I inherited one from my Dad- it was fired 3 times when Dad had it, and 3 more since.  Still in like new condition.  Nifty little shotgun.  Any thoughts?

No box, 25" vent rib, factory engraving on receiver.  Sorry, should have said that.  The two offers to send me addresses- sure. 

Have several groups I could pass those to- Mary Kay Cosmetics, Amway, Watchtower Society-  possibilities are just endless!

I don't want to know. I had a .410 & 28 skeet set I sold along with several other guns around 1972 or3 when I needed a new car
shortly after I got married. $2500 + a beat up Datsun pick-up trade in for a new Ford Pinto wagon. I kept the 12 & 20 which I probably should have sold instead. In fact it didn't really matter since I couldn't afford to shoot that much after I got married.

I bought my very early 1100LW .410 new in box and all accessories for ~1,200 more than 10 years ago. Then, I bought each of the offered barrels over the course of a few years that are also in very good to mint so now I have all 4. Will it every sell for what I have in it? Not for a while. But, I wouldn't sell it for less than 5 figures anyway. When I was young, that is the gun I lay awake and dreamed about. If yours is the old style, I might be up for another one. If you do list it, send me a PM with the auction...

Subjectively, I will say that the newer ones with the screw-in chokes has relieved some of the pressure on the older collectibles since most hunters opt for that version where classic collectors like the old.

Hunter- thank you.  As this one was Dad's it is already promised to his favorite granddaughter- who has, in turn promised it to her daughter- his namesake.  Dad bought it new about 1991.  Decided he wanted a .410 to chase the birds out of his garden.
