...but I just keep putting it off and forgetting to get it done.  It's past due.  Was due to be done 08-2018 and hasn't been done yet.

I tend to change oil a bit more often. Seems like cheap insurance.

"Oil is always cheaper than metal"
That being said, my Land Rover, the Exxon Valdez, leaks so much that I have to replenish the old girl every week or so.  No oil in that sump is more than 2 months old, partial differential equations be damned.  Once in awhile I give her a new filter, but really, why bother?  New oil is new oil.

I changes mine yesterday.  The oil in my truck was 11 months old but I still have 300 miles to the change.  I was just tired of thinking about it, had time and a nice day and did it.

Man I can't sleep if I go over my 7000 mile oil change on either vehicle. If you are changing oil by time you must not drive much Joe.

I spread my driving amongst 4 vehicles (1 under warranty) so none ever exceed the mileage between oil changes.

Virginia has the stupid annual inspection scam so I take each vehicle ( in their assigned month) to my favorite mom & pop garage for an oil change and inspection.

I don't even have to think about purchasing the correct oil & filter, good weather, where I left my filter wrench, crawling around on the ground, disposing of the old oil, etc.

I can't believe they misspelled "Pork and Beans!"

I change my Silverado's oil and filter once a year since I've not put over 2,000 miles a year on it since I retired 6 years ago.

One of my brothers was 11,000 miles overdue for an oil change on his Tundra.

Ken, I have the lifetime warranty on my '12 Liberty. The dealer only changes the reg. oil every 6000?
