Helos or cargo ships fly over all the time. I'm assuming that since we are such a rural area that making the loop from Whiteman puts us directly under their training flights.

About a year and a half after #1 and her family moved up here she was diagnosed with migraines. I told her they had activated the homing beacon imbedded in her. Explained that's what happen when you move and don't alert them.

Spooked her at first, lol. She tells everyone now that this is what happened so she can blame it on Uncle Sam.

i lived in the normal summertime flight  route for arriving aircraft to the Military Air Transport Command at Scott Field[Mascoutah illinois--near st louis]  it was common to see the big transports and tankers lining up on the glide path coming in to land.
