My Ol' Crosman 140 .22 Pellet Gun

Found it the other day in a corner by the safe. It quit working a long time ago. Grampa gave me the gun in 1968 and we used it to shoot racoons. At 10 pumps the thing shot pretty hard.  Even found three old crosman vintage tins of pellets. Found a man in Myrtle beach who emailed me back he can repair the old girl for $60 dollars. Reckon it will be working again soon.

I accumulate old air rifles.Before you take it to be repaired,put a few drops of 30W non detergent oil on the seal on the pump rod and a drop where you put the pellet. Pump it a few times and let it set a few days.If you have it repaired,$60. is a deal.

I've got an old stainless Sheridan that's a thing of beauty.  Pump it 4 times and it knocks a squirrel out of a tree, pump it a few more and it just perforates the little bugger and he sorta roooolls over and falls.  What a sweetheart.  I have two newer pump style and their shots are all over the place.  Plenty of power but you couldn't hit your own foot if you were standing up.
