Boeing consolidating to SC angers Washington State Governor

Too bad, your Union workforce was bleeding Boeing for years, your state is allowing rioters to destroy the place why not move it all! Your lucky you still got a ton of Boeing jobs there and obviously they feel it is a better business decision to move the Dreamliner production to SC.
Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!

Placing our nations aerospace industry in the hands of two firms: Boeing and Northrup-Grumman, is an example of the combined bungling of the Bush and Obama administrations.

    What do you suggest?

There is no longer any recourse. You can't divest the holdings of Boeing and Northrup-Grumman and restore them as independent companies. Turning back the clock exists only in the minds of the remaining Gun Broker hardliners. The damage has been done, and it can't be corrected.

IMHO the government's involvement in Boeing and N-G is in direct response to Airbus being backed by the EU as they compete for contracts in America.  There's no way a private company can underbid Airbus for contracts, when it has governmental backing.  And Boeing moving to SC is well deserved, also IMHO.  When the Seattle's management pull their heads out of their collective a$$es and start acting like predictable businesspersons again, maybe Industry will stick around longer.  In the meantime, maybe Seattle can house even MORE homeless in those big expensive empty Boeing warehouses and assembly plants?

Great news!   Anyone that follows the Boeing-South Carolina news on this forum knows that I have always been in favor of Boeing being in South Carolina.
