If I am attacked (God forbid it ever happens) I want a gun.  I am now a Kriple, getting old and slower than young aggressive attackers.  I never want to be close enough for that  useless toy to be deployed.  A gun is something even the most moronic attacker can understand and fear.  If not he will soon understand what "smile wait for the flash" means.

That appears to be a piece of cable in a aluminum handle. Looks to be less effective at carving a pumpkin than those cheap plastic kits you give to kids on Halloween.
