But will it work with the same battery pak that powers my socks and underwear?

I can't believe they misspelled "Pork and Beans!"

why can't you just turn your underwear upside down, two ear holes and a nose flap............ no need to buy a mask, nobody gonna see ya but the deer

    I tried what you suggested.
I have a tip for you -- wash them first.

That would avoid getting a skid mark on your forehead.

That is what my wife said after I came in from my morning hunt.
I sat in my blind for hours wondering if an animal had crawled under the blind and died.  Pew!

I've started using the stretchy tube type neck/face protectors for both cold weather and the dreaded "mask required" areas. Such face coverings seem to be a breeding ground for any little beasties that might be present due to the warm moist air being held close to the wearer's face.

I have several stretchy face masks that cover my entire head with just a slot for my eyes that I wear for warmth when hunting in cold weather.

I also use them to mask my face when calling deer.

They are comfy but my hair is scary when I pull the mask off. (And no haircut since Covid started)

I have considered wearing one to town...

I know the feeling, quit shaving about a month ago also, look like something that crawled out of alley full of empty whiskey bottles......

Sounds like you are all decked out and ready for Halloween hillbille!

I have had a pair of these thick hunter orange "tubes" that have a draw string on one end for several years.  They fit over your head and can be worn around your neck for warmth, used as Chinese puzzle hand warmers, pulled up over your face, worn on top of your head if you need a hunter orange hat, used as a nice soft rifle rest to keep your wooden stock from scratches, cover for the flintlock when it starts to snow or rain, used as a sack with the draw string pulled to carry quite a bit of stuff or even lunch,  and lastly, when this virus crap started I used one as a mask until it got hot out and then I stole one of my wife's wrap around head bands for same.

Now, wasn't that the longest sentence you have ever read? :)

No, but I was an English major, LOL!
I started using Buffs years ago, Love 'em. Now I buy them for about 1/4 the price of Buffs from https://safishing.com/
    I may be a bit crazy - but I didn't drive myself.

I've been wearing the "skeleton face" mask as we approach Halloween. Gets a lot of looks and even some comments.

Buffs!  Thanks Rocky!  I never knew the name my orange fabric "tubes" went by.  Can't even remember where or when I bought them.  The ones I have are very thick and quite heavy.  When used as a face mask they do steam up my eyeglasses something awful!

Brookwood, I can say that the SA Fishing Co is great to deal with. I ordered the Buy One Get Four Free package and although they were out of some styles I picked, they sent acceptable alternatives. They're equal to Buffs in quality. I wear them for golf and fishing, and keep one in the car in case I forget to pack a regular COVID mask. My use is to prevent another round of melanoma, but they are good for heat and cold as well as wind.
