So I'm with you on boots. However I'm now in need of and hunting for good socks. I like over the calf, toe and heel reinforced, plain white, and in size for us big guys. I know, I'm asking a lot. None to be found.
There are tube socks that say large 6-12 that are an 8 at best.
There are 6-12 toe and heel reinforced, but in crew length only. I've checked haines,Fruit of loom, Duluth, ect.
No luck. So tell me what do you get and where? Thanks.

I found the Justin brand boot socks work pretty good.
Your local Murdoch's should have 'em.

Clicked on the link. Like what I see. Those are a different style than what I got.
Thanks.
Wigwam
Basspro has a good selection of socks I live their snakeboot socks and their lifetime warranty socks
Yep, I also buy wool socks. Pretty much one size fits all, but they get too hot and too thick. I too am really picky about socks, they gotta fit. Been getting tougher and tougher to find any local.
I do think I'm going to go by Murdochs again and see what they got, slow down and double check the label.
Gonna check out the others suggested too. Thanks all.
I find that with most socks.
Being 13 EEE makes finding socks that don't fit like an Ace bandage hard.
Largest Carhart's work but are pricey.
I wore Fox River wool socks for years, about 12/14 years ago I switched to these FITS socks.
A great Sock, wear like iron and feel great on the foot. I've bought 6 pair total since starting to wear them, granted I only wear them in fall and winter or when hunting or ice fishing. But I still get a lot of mileage out of the,
