Looks like Europe's biggest economy is semi-shutting down again

Merkel announced starting Nov 2nd they are closing bars, restaurants, Movie theaters Etc. I can't begin to imagine how mad the owners of those type businesses are that the Government is taking away their revenue but allowing other types of shops to stay open.
Maybe they should all stock some essential item and stay open for all services like Lowes or Walmart.
I get plumbing repairs is an essential item but shopping for roses in the garden shop isn't.
Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!

Right now the vomit the media has casted upon the world is reaping the reward. Come Nov 3rd if it doesn’t go right way, this country will pay a huge price , much higher than it already has and a way of life many won’t recognize. IMO only

I imagine that the social distancing thing has not gone over too well in many European countries. It goes totally against social customs that have endured for eons. Example: When I worked in France in the late '80s, the first half-hour or so of every morning was spent largely in shaking hands with everyone, and possibly a double cheek kiss for the special ones. It wasn't just with people you happened to meet, you were expected to walk around finding people and shaking their hands.
