Tried to send this link to a friend through Facebook Messenger.

Messenger didn't approve and gave me a denied message.


Facebook reads messages and won't send something they deem subversive. That bothers me.

    It's no secret.  They don't actually "read" & censor, they use a "bot" to eliminate things that they think crazy, offensive, or too conservative.   Well, OK, yes, they read your stuff. 
    Which is why I don't use FB or Twitter.  Well, actually, I don't use FB because they banned me.

    My eldest works for a major software company leading a development team for cloud magic stuff.  He HATES the internet and does not use FB or Twitter.  He thinks, and is correct, those social media platforms are sewers.

    us55840, in answer to why use facebook, my oldest daughter posts regular pictures of my 2 grandchildren on her facebook page and also posts video of both of them running at their cross country meets.  They live 650 miles away so this is a big deal to me.
