Coffee

I recently switched to Black Rifle Coffee and it's wonderful. I brew it with the tears of my enemies.
Some will die in hot pursuit
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain

Like these guys here told me Folgers Black Silk is as good as it gets. So far I have found nothing I like better. I would like to try Black Rifle but it is too expensive and I don't think I would pay the difference over the Folgers.

As for the price, I am very happy to pay more knowing some of the cost goes to support veterans.

I'm drinking some CAF right now, it is good, but I prefer dark roast.

I have the CAF on autoship currently, but I like the JB just as well.

I have an open can of French Vanilla coffee I bought last week, tried one cup and pored the rest of the pot out. I have it here with the top off and I just brewed a pot of Black Slick. My cup had a couple of ounces left from yesterday and being lazy I just poured it into the French Crap. This mess smells great!!

After a one on tour of the "Montana Coffee Traders"...(Whitefish MT)...We actually tasted every type of coffee available...we were buzzed when we left...but it was an awesome tour...My favorite was the Yugevetchi coffee bean...But it is no longer imported due to the amount of unexploded ordnance discovered on the sacks of cherries...(beans)...  :#  So...my go to ground coffee is Seattle's Best 6th Ave Bistro... Made in a French press...(no other way to make coffee...)

We drink the Black Rifle - Murdered Out.

Very dark and non-acidic. Plus as said above part of the profit helps our Vets.

anytime you have a bitter coffee you can put a pinch of salt over the coffee before brewing, to me anyway it takes away the bitterness.......

I'm a couple years into BR and DW . We probably have 4 more BR cups and two DW rolling around. Give me any of the BR over the DW.

Daughter is a subscriber to BRC club. I get a big supply each time she visits since her monthly delivery is more than she uses.
I like the first couple of cups to be rich and strong.

My go to is a French Roast. I have a Keurig and live in the boonies so my choices are limited. Believe it or not I usually buy my cups at Menards.

I met Mat Best in Djibouti. He showed his movie at the base. Pretty cool guy.

I was chatting with a guy who was selling Black Rifle Coffee. Said it was almost impossible to sell in his shop as the factory would constantly undercut his selling price.

BRCC makes their coffee available in K cups and it's not all I have from them but it constitutes the bulk of it by far.

I drink coffee.  Some coffee is better than others.  I don't add sugar or cream.  I do, usually, pour it in a cup.

I'm not all that discerning. After seven years of the simmered brew army mess halls called coffee you could probably mix leather dye with turpentine and get away with callin' it coffee.

I have friends in Hawai'i.  I got them addicted to Jumbo Virginia Peanuts.  We have a little trade thing going.
They send me coffee beans from the Kona side of the Big Island, and from the North Shore of Oahu, I keep them in peanuts.
    Pyrex percolator.

Tastes like coffee smells.  Light roast, better than Jamaica Blue Mountain.

No, I don't drink it either. Although it smells amazing, coffee tastes awful  :s. I drink tea.

In the military, coffee is known as pilot fuel or soldier fuel or whatever you are fuel. In 'Nam you got it black and strong, and that was it. I had previously been drinking the "training wheels" version with some sugar and creamer. But since then, I drink it black. Not quite as dark or strong as then, but still straight up. 8 O'Clock is our preferred brand, regular roast. On my second cup as I type this.
    I may be a bit crazy - but I didn't drive myself.

I started drinking 8 O’Clock as a kid, the original red bag until I switched, usually the black bag kind now. The store had a grinder in the same aisle. Great coffee! My brother is a coffee broker so he sends me the beans he tastes as being the best.

    Best.
