I have the new rechargable type that you put in a little box/holder and they recharge over night. DON'T, repeat Don't let the wife put them in your charger, after my last stay in hospital I gave mine to my wife as they were dead and didn't want them lost/stolen from hospital room, when we got home she put them in the box/charger backwards, I now have one that will not charge, I swapped them next morning when I found them backwards and still dead. only one charged up, don't know if it shorted or just went bad, only about a year old, guess next vistit to VA I will have to drop them off for repair, can't say she really ruined them but it is something to hold over her head for a while...... it outta keep me out of doghouse for a few weeks

Have had mine for exactly 3 years this month and have not been wearing them much the last year or so. They were supposed to help with my tinnitus but they seem to make it worse. Had planned to see if there was anything they could do at the VA but my last annual appointment was just a mere phone call with my doc. My local clinic has had all the workers doing most things from home.
