Do your dogs/cats watch TV???

Last night our daughter sent us video of a squirrel on her TV. Both of her dogs and both cats were totally mesmerized in watching that squirrel, to the point of jumping a little when the squirrel jumped around. They watched for over half an hour.
Her TV is a big flat screen with outstanding visual quality. I'm wondering if this is part of them watching that squirrel as mine almost never watch TV and when they do it will be a sound that perks up their ears but it only amounts to a glance at the TV?? But my TV is not a flat screen and is nowhere as good visually.
I've never had an animal do any amount of TV watching. How about you??

No TV in the barn. No livestock in the house.
When it came to the cheerleaders are you sure she wasn't "channeling" her Dad??? 😂
my sons dog will stop everything when an animal come on tv, commercial or show, I turned the dog show on once when he had the dogs here, they would walk right up to the tv, wag tail and whimper whenever one of the handlers would walk the dogs around the ring, stood there for as long as I would leave it on........
My bride is disabled, and bed-bound. She has a little girl cat that is her constant companion (and has earned her cat food for life) Big screen TV. When one of the America's Funniest animal videos comes on, she trots down to the foot of the bed, plops down, and watches TV. Cracked me up when I saw that!
The last cat we had paid no attention to any animal shows. Ran from the room when most music shows were on. However if a car race was on she would go nuts swatting at the cars as they went by. Either she was a NASCAR fan or just the opposite. Bob
My English Bulldog watches tv with us in the evening if she is on one of our laps.
OK :
My Black Lab pup howls when the 'law & order' theme song comes on ??? Its Funny !
Thanks !!!
I Grew Old Too Fast (And Smart Too damn Slow !!!) !!! :?
Neither Bella the lab or Luke the poodle pay any attention at all to the television most of the time . They will howl at the sirens on police shows etc . Never seen them react to other animals on the tube .
Good question dreher! I have to fight with mine, not only about what we are going to watch but who gets to hold the remote! 😁
My dog only watches the inside of his eyelids.
That's incredibly sad. Some of my fondest memories thus far in life involve dogs and cats.
My ol' buddy Jake used to try and pick fights with other dogs he'd see on TV. He DID NOT like them being in his house!
Wound him up seven ways from Sunday.😄
My miniature Schnauzer “RUGER” goes nuts when he sees a dog or anything with 4 legs on tv. He knows the word “dog” too because I sorta conditioned him to wake up from a dead sleep and respond to the dog on tv.
It is pretty funny to watch. You would think a Sasquatch was breaking into the house!
When driving in the truck, he does the same thing when I say “cow”.
My Rat Terrier trys to sing along with the Rock Auto commercials.
yes.
