Bought my first AR

I actually wanted a Springfield Saint Victor, but grew impatient waiting for someone to get them in stock. The LGS posted these Andersons on Facebook last night, they seem to have a decent reputation and they come with a lifetime warranty so I thought why not. The price was $700 for the rifle, soft case, and 50 rounds of ammo. Just ordered scope, bipod adapter, bipod and extra mags.

Good choice and a good price at today’s market.
Looks like a huge step up over anything Springfield.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
You will not be disappointed!
Great rifle but your first choice is also. Those that bash Springfield should go shoot one. They are very accurate. Guns and ammo review

...Have a couple, a Colt and DPMS...fun rifles! Have way too many Colt 1911s too. My shooting has dropped off the last year, some of them are going to go, cant shoot two at once...very good...😙
Why would anyone bash Springfield. They make great firearms and have always given me excellent service. I remember a buddy telling me he was seeing some problems with some MARSOC Springfield 1911's. I ran into one of Springfield's guys I knew in Texas a couple of days later and mentioned it to him. He had me call my buddy and spent a half hour discussing the problem and said he would send parts the next day. They have always treated me perfectly and have even helped me find hard to get products that I needed for customers.
maybe the new administration will offer a 1000.00 for it ??
Scope should be here Wednesday evening, can't wait to try it out. Hit Bass Pro this morning and picked up another 1,150 rounds of 5.56 for it.
What kind of scope, Ridgeley?
A Leupold VX3i 3.5-10
Nice buy on the rifle and a great choice in the scope. Also congrats on finding some more ammo. When BassPro has it in stock their price is pretty good compared to what some of the others are charging in todays panic mode market. The problem is being there at the right time to get it before the gougers buy it all up. Bob
Yeah, there are always several gun show dealers trying to buy everything, but this morning I beat them and bought a lot of ammo.
buying your first AR is like pulling the cork on the whisky bottle and throwing it away.
