I watched this on Netflix over the last week.
It is based on a true story of the 45th Infantry Division in WW2.
It was written as a book, then adapted to be an 8 part mini-series for the history channel, however the history channel could not afford the substantial production cost.
Instead of going forever unseen, Netflix picked it up and did it animated.
The result is unique, I was able to get over the fact that it’s animated and actually enjoyed the series.
Check it out- I think overall many here will enjoy it.

Watched it. I thought it was good.

When I saw the Netflix ad, and it was a true story that was animated, I had my doubts. It was very well done, and some parts looked like real film.
Watched about 5 mins, the animated part annoyed me to much.
