Brother and I camp and hunt in the Mark Twain National Forest. Final day in camp, at sunset, I finally managed to not get skunked.
Broke camp in the dark, hauled the gutted buck home and hung him in the barn last night. Finished processing him today and he now resides in my freezer.

Congratulations,
Great job!
Congrats
He got a big hole in his shoulder. What rifle do you use?
Excellent!
Good job.
I bet he didn’t run far.
congrats
I inherited my Dad's Remington Woodsmaster 742 in 30.06. I'm short, its heavy and long, but its a deerslayer. I've taken many deer with it. Hopeful to get another one this year during the 3 day season in December.
And the hole in his shoulder is the exit. Bullet went through shoulder to shoulder. Backstraps and tenderloins were all good.
Congratulations on your hunt, Susie!
Excellent!
You little mite! Hunting with a 30-06!
I used to have a Woodmaster. Even though the semi auto action absorbs some of the recoil, that guns still has quite a kick.
You are a Pioneer Woman.
congrats on the buck and good for you , for using your Dads rifle 👍️
