The end of "Adobe flash player"

My puter had a notice this morning that Adobe Flash Player would be discontinued on December 31, 2020. Something I was not aware of. Now, I've got to decide on a replacement.

What video player are you guys using? Any suggestions?

    My Linux Mint OS uses Celluloid, an open-source video player - perfectly, I might add. An even better open-source app to run darn near any video, ebook, or music file is VLC. I no longer have a Windows machine on which I could test and verify that they work on that OS, but it would be worth a try.

    I may be a bit crazy - but I didn't drive myself.

    Put "VLC download" into your search engine.
