takes effect Jan. 1. Just a matter of time. More tax for the states to squander. I wonder how it will affect sales? Any thoughts or anybody care?

What about private sellers?
What I have read , the state it goes to will get the tax on all sales, private or not. All sales.
I just read the email too....
Just a drop in the bucket. Just wait until the financial fall out, for the chinese crud starts kicking in. You will be wishing for the good old days, when your state tax was just 9.75%.
If the demoncraps get to raise taxes to the rates they want to raise them to..............BOHICA!!!
In N.J. now a typical family house tax is now paying over 15,000 dollars in property valuations ! Yikes!

Oregon does not have sales tax> How does this affect us????
A lot of Idahoans drive over from Boise to Oregon to buy stuff.

Could make a huge difference since Biden wants to shut down online sales of ammo and firearms. Look at the money the states will lose.
This has a time stamp but not a date. How does this change anything? They have been taxing Fleabay for quite a while now. I had to quit buying gold, silver & coins because of that. It's bad enough to pay for shipping.
I'm sure we will soon.....
And in Alabama my elderly mother-in-laws pays a whopping $2 per year.......yep, you read that right, $2. Not sure what other resident over there pay, I get sick when I write my tax check 😩

our 115 year old farm house in the country just got taxed for $3000.....5 miles from town and we cannot even get the damn road graded
In my state no sales tax is required between private sellers. I hop the GB program recognizes that. If not, my buying and bidding on GB will be over.
wonder about as tax is calculated on the total sale how they will handel the non paying bidder thing
Yes, there will be issues, many ....
You pay sales tax in state at a dealer. Well if you add in shipping online, the scales will tip to buying local . Add in local dealers do not charge if you buy from them a transfer fee. So pay just sales tax locally and avoid shipping and transfer fees.
