Trying to help and older person sell the above rifle, can anyone give some idea as to a value? Date on the rifle is 1818-1968. Thanks

Mint with box and paperwork. 700.00 to 800.00 on a good day. Too many made to be a serious collector item.
Just a wall hanger.
My 2 cents.

As per the above poster. Have to be mint/NIB, in original box. With all original accessories and paperwork, that it was sold with. If any of the above criteria aren't met? Just valued as a shooter.
With very few exceptions, guns manufactured for the intended purpose of becoming a collector's item, are not very good investments. You purchase one because it is something you like, relates to you in some way, or you want to pass along to your family, but not because it will fund your retirement.
One of the highest number and one of the least desirable to have especially without a box. Just saying, without box and all 400-450, maybe. Seen regular 94's sell higher than a used Il. Com.
Sold it for $500.00 thanks
