been a little cheaper than that here . do you remember the Dodge store. always bought my first tank of gas there on the way back to Ms.
5.00 easy and go up from there
i will expect 3.50 when all drill stops
Be careful what you ask, Ricci! They'll take it as a challenge!
I have seen it around Austin from 1.69 to 2.09..................still not bad.
I remember filling the Tundra up @ 4.80. Painful
$1.79? Gas? At first glance l thought you were talking about PRIMERS🤑
$2.45 here in Alaska, and we drill and refine the bloody stuff right here!
$0.00 As in "We ain't got none. Try tomorrow."
Anybody remember the oil embargo, 1973? As in you could buy gas even/odd days, based on your license number, and no gas sales on Sundays? Sales of locking gas tank caps went way up.
Our prices seem to fluctuate a few cents a gallon up and down. Lowest right now is $1.99 with a rise on some days up to $2.09 here and $2.19 the next town over.
I wonder what the average drop in miles driven is? Mine has leveled off and stays fairly consistent but I get the impression that a large number of folks have really curtailed the miles they drive each week.
Best.
We're getting about two weeks to the gallon here due to the Dempanic. Our price is running $2.28 for regular ethanol mix. It varies a few cents county to county based on tax rates. Probably a dime or so less at Costco, but I haven't been to one lately.
Oh, yeah. I was driving to community college every day. We swiped some blue tape from the electric lab and made a 7 into an 8 on even days. After a while, we discovered that most self service gas stations paid no attention to who was getting gas. What a scam.
Last week my wife filled up her car for $.89 a gallon at the local Kroger store. She had a bunch of points from grocery purchases. I did the same thing last year for $.99 a gallon.
Our local Kroger store does pretty good for a small city. There is always one or two things they are out of, but she can go across the street and usually find it at wally world.

$1.87 is the cheapest around me.
Once creepy sleepy gets in it will be back up to over 3 bucks.
Ricci, I paid $1.89 today. The problem with being an old fart is I can remember paying $.199 regularly and $.119 in gas wars in my youth.
Yep I always use my points at Kroger, 10 cent off for each 100 points, today I didn't need gas but was only $1.60 without even using points north of Fort Worth. Murphys at the Wally world has points also but the only count for the first 20 gallons, Kroger a better deal.
