A pretty cool .22 semi-auto/bolt action with an unusual action.

I've been watching it since yesterday.... will bid later if it stays reasonable, right now it's not gaining much interest, guess that's why you are posting about it. Sure looks nice and I could use a semi in 22LR, but if it goes too high I'll just stick with my bolt-action.

Well it has 18 watchers since I listed it a day and a half ago and still 5 days to go so it's early yet, but good luck.

There is one around here somewhere. I just looked in the safe I thought it was in but it isn't in that one. I did however find a Marlin 75C that I had forgotten about. Kind of like an early Christmas.😁 Bob

Ricci.Wright 18 watchers means there is more interest than the two bids show, I'm sure you will do well on it, I figured I wait until the last day before I bid, thanks.

EDTA: I forgot to ask, does it do well against leaves?

First gun I ever shot . Have a lifetime , almost 60 years of experience with one of them . Brother inherited it but I bought one just like it many years ago . Super accurate , used to shoot mistletoe out of trees with it before the eyes got bad . It will be one of the last guns to leave my hands

I saw a guy shoot one at the range but there was something amiss with his...it went "clack-click".

I can't believe they misspelled "Pork and Beans!"

High Standard reworked the design in 1959 to produce the Sears Model 25 and later the High Standard Sport King semi-auto rifles. I have a one of the Sears and one of the High Standards

The well known "Gill Gun"! Busted Knee- you were standing on the wrong side of the rifle. Customer brought one into my local gunsmith, complained it would not shoot semi, only single shot. looked at the rifle laying on counter, asked him if he had tried the semi setting. Huh?

Yeah, the bolt knob was in the wrong position.

If you’ve ever ran a New Holland square baler, you know the “click-clack” sound.

that did well but it was a nice one

I Have one my dad owned for as long as I can remember I took it home 30 + years ago to clean it for him I did shoot it thought it was broke also but figured it out after a few rounds

when dad stopped by a few days later we went into the back yard and we shot it some more funny he did not know either about its odd ball system I do not think he ever shot it before that day He just had it hanging on the wall (loaded by the way and no kid ever messed with it ) for at least 30 + years before then , when he passed years ago he had given it to me knowing cancer was about to take him along with a old 25 auto pistol

I will pass along to one of my sons if uncle joe does not try and take it

“Bucking “ square bales hay in a North Carolina summertime is a character building experience.
