Are you still doin' any blacksmithin'? I'm thinking I might try my hand at a bit of simple stuff for a house remodel I'm starting next year.

Got any advice as to what kind of minimalist tool/forge set up I could get by with? Mostly will be doing some decorative stair rails and such.

    I get that! Towards the end of my contracting career I had fewer clients, but made a lot more money!

    Thanks for the input. When you say a gas or coal forge, what kind of gas? Will LP do it?
