This one is pretty special. 82nd Air Born Combat vet, then a cop, then back in the army as Special Forces, and he owned the fasted car in Detroit. The story of the Black Ghost, a one of a kind 1970 hemi.

Thanks guys. I really enjoyed that. Bunch of good guys and a helluva car. Bob
I watched a short video story on it from friends and family about three days ago great story and one fantastic car
it did show its age and was not what I expected but showed honest wear and tear from being used and abused and put away wet . but all original and only that way one time . I envy the family who owns it they say they will keep it
my thoughts from what I seen they have a modest life like most of us now that's it out and all over the internet only time will tell when big $$ knocks on the door how bad they want to keep it . every thing has a price including sentimental value
oh ya now its registered with the historical society which I thought was neat
many years ago a local fellow had a 70 hemi cuda we lived in a small town her in Ohio so it was well known to all us car guys
any way some fellow in California found out about it thru some search on hemi cars . he called and the fellow said sure you can look but no way I am not selling , long story short and trip from California , 10k and the fellow shipped it back to Cal . at the time 10k was a nice price back then late 70's , however today not so much I have heard the fellow who sold it has bad dreams and cry's a bit when its brought up LOL
Speaking of Challengers... it has been 50 years to the day...( Christmas Eve ) that my first cousin was home on leave from vietnam.. an Army Ranger he shows up at my Grandmas home for the Christmas eve party in his 1970 Challenger T/A Trans Am. He died in 2000 and his sister inherited the Challenger in which she still has. Original paint. Sublime Green the car looks new with low miles
