the family and I cleaned out the attic and gave a truckload of stuff away
it's hard on me to just throw it away so I gave it away(wife can throw it away)
we also updated gun list (it needed to be done) I forgot how easy it is to forget removing or adding guns

wanted to give away a gun to you guys but the boys claimed them all
what did you ins get done?
Iced in on the farm today....over 1/3" of ice on everything. Not safe for this old fart to hunt in this kind of weather so I aimed myself in a different direction. I closed out last years farms books.....opened up this years. Started working on taxes and getting all that together. Cleaned a couple of guns and put a new scope on a rifle.
All in all, not a bad first day of 2021......BUT I would have rather been out hunting !!!!!
Worked on my farm, in the mud and rain.
Didn't do a dang thing today.
I worked.........at HEB. It was a slow day...........good time to catch up on the stock.
I successfully made coffee without injuring myself.
Score!
Yesterday I cleaned the Gun Shop. I Vacuumed, dusted, moved some cabinets around, and even found some stuff that was hidden. Made it more presentable to Public.
Today is my 62nd Birthday, not doing a darn thing.
Well........, sitting in recliner rereading " Unintended Consequences " for the 4th or 5th time.

Happy 62nd hoosier !!!!
Washed the exterior of the lake house
hoosier Happy birthday! my 62nd will be in 34 days. As for the original post, I've tried to stay warm, can't enjoy much below 50's these days and we've been 30-40s so only outside to feed animals... I did do some laundry and been doing the cooking as other half still works full-time.
Wife and I took down the Chritmas tree and all the Christmas do dads around the house yesterday. We have an 8' artificial tree loaded with LED lights. For some strange reason that tree gets heavier and harder to move up and down the stairs to the basement every year.

Took the grandson trap shooting, fed him lunch and worked the rest of the day until past dark on burning a brush pile. Covered up the fire with more trees right before bed, just starting to snow, hope it cools all night and I can get it roaring tomorrow. Black Locust, stays wet would make some nice fence posts!
I went to work.
I closed out my 2020 financial records in preparation to give everything to my CPA. I can remember when I made less than I pay in taxes now. 😒
Made batches of cookie dough, will be baking all day tomorrow.
