Me thinks the Russians didn't like these very much.

Although they did copy the drum mags to use in their PPD-40 and PPSh-41guns. Up to 900 rounds per minute of very controllable and accurate 9mm. Enough to ruin anyone's day. The Finns were pretty bad *. This rifle shoots well.

9mm Parabellum?
That's a pretty neat gun.
Yes 9mm P
Very cool gun and a gun that changed the Soviet Unions tactics in WW2. The Commies didn't like getting shot at by them but they liked the gun so much they tried to copy it. But it was too expensive so they simplified it and we have the PPSh-41. The drum mag for the PPSh-41 is a direct copy of the KP-31's drum. Before the USSR met the KP-31 they didn't think much of sub-machine guns but the Finns changed their minds.
The Finns were pretty tough but I guess you have to be living in that part of the world. Did you ever work with any of them Sam??
Never did.
They have a unit called the Utti Jaeger Regiment that trains their SF and Spec ops guys and they also train guys who are military contractors going overseas. I have a buddy who worked with some of them and he said they were top notch.
