This blog is not what it used to be. I sure enjoyed the past participating members that offered spirited, constitutional conversation. This place is quiet compared to when they participated. And I miss the knowledge and experience they shared with this group.

Oakie is around and drops in from time to time. He’s doing well. Woody (Woodshed) also.
And BSR.
Matwor is alive and well and working hard. Don't know that he even lurks anymore.

Agreed, nothing like it used to be.
I miss those and others.

Remington Oaks

Dennis Neilson, yes! Very interesting guy.
And that lawyer from New Orleans, Earl Boydell. They both got kicked off the forum and I miss them.
Capt'n Midnight
Some of the guys passed away. Zipperzap lived out in California, I had some very interesting discussions with him.
He was camping out in the desert one night and had a fantastic account of a UFO he saw out there.
Also JoeAF1911, he fought in Patton's army going across Europe in WW2. He referred to himself as a "dogface." Very interesting guy. He lived in New Jersey and he had a "pet" herd of deer he used to feed them corn.
For someone who has been a forum member for less than a year, you complain a lot. We've got guys who've been here for 20 years who don't whine and gripe as much as you do.
Here is how this works: Contact GB Corporate and cry to one of them how oppressed you feel when you drop into the forum. Explain to GBHQ how the forum is stifling your freedom of expression, and then lay out to the suits at HQ the changes you want made to improve your forum experience.
When GB corporate contacts David Nunn or myself telling us to implement your improvements, we'll take care of it. In the meantime, keep your gripes about GB to yourself.
Good grief! I forgot to include the pharaoh:
