Bamboo toilet paper?
My wife got some at the grocery store the other day. I tried some out this morning and its not too bad. It is a little rougher than regular toilet paper and its the color of a paper bag but other than that it works.
We have a septic tank so I checked to see if it is safe and it is. It breaks down better than regular toilet paper according to what I read.
If interested you can read about it here:

Not since I escaped from The Viet Cong.
I'll bring you a roll when I come to see you😁
mine has a habit of breaking down prematurely if you know what i mean.
Never heard of it Sam. Is it priced like regular TP?
Around here we call that "A huge breakthrough in toilet paper!" 😬
bamboo is just grass
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Yes it was cheaper and they had a bunch in stock from what my wife said. I told her I didn't mind it and to get more if it was available.
@Mr. Perfect You are correct it is just grass. In the article above they say it is processed like wood but because it grows fast and is easy to harvest it is more sustainable than wood, even though most toilet paper is made from recycled wood and paper products.
@Brookwood I just asked my wife and she said she got it at CVS and they had it BOGO free $3.99 a case(18 rolls).
She also said nobody was buying it and she thought the CVS might have over ordered it and was just trying to get rid of it. I asked her if she had seen it in the grocery store and she said not the ones she goes to(Harris Tetter, Food Lion and Lowes)
Ain't John Wayne TP is it?
Where in the US is that Bamboo grown?
That stuff will grow most anywhere
I got in a bind and had to use dryer sheets. Worked good except it took all the wrinkles out of my * hole😆
Much better than corn cobs. 😉
All over in the SE.
I just looked at the bag it comes in. The stuff is made in china for Babo International Trade LLC in Edison NJ. They have a website:
www.babous.com
Here is how its made according to their website:
If it's brown, how do you know it's working? 😁
You have to do a smell check.
Ruled out as an option then.

We use to have red and white cobs in the outhouse.
Used a red one first and do a clean check with a white one. White one soiled, repeat step one.
White cobs were not as plentiful.
Older Sears catalogs worked good until the glossy page era came along.
Humm, takes you back to how long you been around from another thread.
It's an invasive species (maybe not officially). Friend of mine has a literal wall of it growing on his property in Arkansas. Very difficult to get rid of.
Is that the Japan olive or? That stuff is like everywhere. I had to have a cat knock out a 20 acre patch that stuff took over. Horrible stuff!
