Question about value

I have a DPMS mod A-15......police turn in with detachable carry handle. I put a Sig Romeo 5 dot sight on it. I am thinking about maybe selling it to the grandson of a former boss of mine. Yes.....he is of legal age and a resident of my state. It would be his first AR.


What say you as far as asking price?

    I also put the mount on top of the carry handle to allow mounting of an optic..........what I have in it is in the $600 range.

    Right now, you could get market value by looking at auctions on here. If you want to maximize your return. If it is a goodwill gesture then find a price you can live with that is a win win for both parties.

    I have sold firearms at below market to friends or friends family, but I always go market if there is no goodwill involved.
